Diagnostic Services.
Missouri Heart Center is pleased to provide on-site diagnostic services for its patients. Tests traditionally performed in a hospital setting are offered and often can be done on the same day as an office visit. Our diagnostic area features state- of-the-art equipment and a highly qualified medical staff. Your physician or nurse will supply details and instructions specific to any testing that might be recommended for you.

  • Nuclear medicine.
For detecting blockages, this form of testing uses tracer injections and a camera to show blood flow to the heart.

  • Enhanced External Counterpulsation therapy.
EECP therapy uses cuffs similar to blood pressure cuffs to promote new blood vessel growth around blockages.

  • Echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound procedures.
These procedures use sound waves to generate detailed images of the heart's interior and its functioning.

  • Telephonic pacemaker checks.
With easy-to-use monitoring equipment, routine pacemaker checks can be performed conveniently by phone.

  • Cardiac catheterization laboratory.
A coronary angiogram is an invasive procedure that can be safely performed on an outpatient basis to detect blockages in your heart.
