About us
The groundwork for what would evolve into Missouri Heart Center was laid over thirty years ago by Dr. Lenard Politte.

Later, in 1991, Missouri Cardiovascular Specialists was founded by six cardiologists who shared a strong desire to provide the finest possible care in an efficient, comfortable setting. As a result, Missouri Heart Center came into being at the dawn of the new millennium. Today, twelve physicians -- both cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons -- and three nurse practitioners comprise a team of dedicated professionals. Together with a support staff of nurses, medical assistants, technologists, and patient representatives, we offer our patients the highest level of cardiovascular care in an environment of trust and compassion.
